The Paradise of Lunigiana

We stayed at this beautiful Villa Terra di Luna in Lunigiana for two weeks. This is the second visit for us. It is just like a paradise, we enjoyed so much as the last time and also are very much impressed with some exceptional improvements for new vegetable garden and the children's playground that are done very nicely. We definitely want to come back to stay very near future. Thank you very much Michael!

JULY 2016 2 WEEKS . Ichiro and Setsuko Tokyo, Japan

OASIS OF CALM
My Wife and Family had another wonderful three week holiday at you house, Villa Terra di Luna, in Tuscany.
An oasis of calm, where we spent a most wonderful relaxed holiday mainly around the magnificent pool. The views are just out of this world. Looking down the valley towards the local village of Fivizzano, nestling in the trees in the distance.

In Fivizzano we shopped in the well-stocked Supermarket with its good butchers counter, and then have a coffee and pastry in the square, we also really enjoyed the weekly market on Tuesdays. We thought the exceptional improvements since our last visit were brilliant, especially the vegetable garden and Children's playground.

We went to many of the restaurants that you recommended and thought they were absolutely delicious. Mauros for grills Gildas for fish plus the many local trattorias for great food and service with wonderful value.

This visit our day trips took us to La Spezia with its fish market and restaurants, Portovenere with its fishing boats and excellent fish restaurants also Sarzana a medieval fortress town full of antique shops, not to forget Portofino with its yachts and beauty. Pontremoli for the best ice cream in Tuscany.

Can't wait to return our greetings to you and Yogi the delightful & famous Yorkie.

Back again...
After our last visit in September 2010 we promised to come back again but time goes by so fast. Anyway, we spent another three wonderful weeks in June 2015 in this unique Villa. During this period we have had time enough to explore the surrounding areas like Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lucca, Firenze, etc. Thanks to the owner, Michael, for his hospitality and kindness. We appreciate his suggestions to some local restaurants with typical great Tuscany food and wine, and at least for very reasonable prices.

From the terrace you have a truly fantastic view of the Apuan Alps. They are breath-takingly beautiful at all times of the day, especially in the late evening as the sun sets, when the mountains seem to change in colour from white to grey to orange to purple and finally black - really stunning.

Inside the house the living rooms and lounge are beautifully furnished with unique special pieces. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable.

The great outdoor area with vegetable garden, children's playground and the pool are really fantastic and so well maintained every day.

It is not easy to choose a favourite part of the Villa, it is all perfect and in high-end quality. We always remember this beautiful three weeks with Michael and we will say "back again".

Grazie, chiao, bye-bye, auf Wiedersehen!
